There are two airports located near Berkeley;

Oakland International Airport (OAK)

This is the nearest airport for accessing the conference venue. OAK is located approximately 30-60 minutes from the University of California, Berkeley.

San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

SFO is located approximately 60-90 minutes from the University of California, Berkeley.

| Public Transportation

Public transportation is available via the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system from either OAK or SFO. The closest BART station is Downtown Berkeley; the conference is approximately a half mile walk East from the station. More information about BART can be found HERE.

The AC Transit system is a bus system that operates within Alameda County and is the most convenient public transit system to travel around the Berkeley/Oakland area.

All San Francisco Bay Area Public Transportation systems accept Clipper transit cards. Clipper transit cards can be purchased at BART stations or online.

| Driving Directions

Driving from San Francisco and San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

1. Take US-101 North,

2. Follow to I-80 East, San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge,

3. After the Bay Bridge, bear left to I-80 East toward Berkeley/Sacramento,

4. On I-80 East, exit at University Ave,

5. Turn left onto Oxford St,

6. Turn right onto Hearst Ave.

Driving from Oakland Airport (OAK)

1. Take I-880 North toward Sacramento/San Francisco/Berkeley

2. Exit onto I-80 East toward Berkeley/Sacramento

3. On I-80 East, exit at University Ave,

4. Turn left onto Oxford St,

5. Turn right onto Hearst Ave.
